Sea Grass
Leaching, seeping, the sea grass is relentless,
It’s sound ricochets along the rocks and boulders
It’s nutrients formed from the sediment and periwinkles
Carnivorous, no, but it conquers the eye
Capturing, not immediately, but through subtle messages
The silent giant, boisterous, yet oysterless
The boulders, rocks, and other hard bodies rely on brawn alone
But not you, seagrass. Your actions are decisive, never simple.
